Gabrielle Calderaro founded D T Dance Center, Inc. 12 years ago to give Long Island dance students the opportunity to learn in a professional and nurturing atmosphere. Having been a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer over the last 30 years, Gabrielle knew she could bring more to the school then was offered elsewhere.

She has led her competition teams to many first place gold medals in Ballet, Point, Jazz, Tap and Modern Dance.  Her dancers have also won first place for three years in a row being honored by Nassau County's Youth and Education Board, as well as first place this year at the Town of Oyster BayPerforming Arts Competition.

Some of Gabrielle's favorite classes are the ones she provides for her students with mental and or physical challenges. She believes that everyone should be able to experience the joy of dancing.  Gabrielle has been on referral staff with O'Connell & Selig Physical Therapists for the past 18 years.
